Real Time AWAC binary data processing w/SeaState

Remonter à System integration and telemetry

Real Time AWAC binary data processing w/SeaState

Envoyé par Eric Howarth à 07 month_feb 2012 20:19

We recently deployed an AWAC that will telemeter the binary wave and current .wpr files.  We would like to process the files at the shore station for web publication.  However, the current configuration is not full duplex.  The data is stored on Campbell Scientific data logger and sent to shore every 10 min.  That is, the binary files are only sent to shore after the current and wave samples are completed and saved to the data logger memory.   Is SeaState compatible with this format? The set up is identical as shown in the AWAC user manual as the example and waves at 2Hz.

Dear Eric,

SeaState II is compatible with this if the Campbell logger integration is transparent. At the moment it is a bit undocumented, but we will make a new release (probably next week) where this is well documented.

Best regards
